Working Hours: Our customer service centre operates on a 5-week rotational basis which includes 1 weekend Sat/Sun shift per 5-week cycle:
* 7am – 3pm
* 8am – 4pm
* 9am – 5pm
* 10am – 6pm
* 1pm – 9pm
Primarily you will work core hours starting between 8 & 10am, but there will be on occasion the requirement to provide cover on our other shift patterns.
Worker Type: Hybrid Worker
Salary: Grade E - Starting Salary is £27,711 (Level one) rising to £30,060 (Level four)

About the Role: To carry out day to day operational supervision of the CSC. To act as first point of contact for enquiries from Customer Service Advisers (CSA) to support the CSC in delivering best service outcomes for Nottingham City Council Housing Services tenants & customers. To ensure that the CSC provides an effective, efficient, courteous and professional service to all service users.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
* Management/Supervisory experience gained within a fast moving, pressurised customer facing environment dealing with complex levels of data and conflicting priorities.
* Previous knowledge of Housing Services issues.
* Experience of data entry, maintaining databases and spreadsheets.
* Good interpersonal skills and a proven ability to communicate effectively, including active listening and questioning.
* Ability to show resilience, diplomacy and tact when dealing with customers, colleagues and stakeholders.
* Highly customer focussed and able to demonstrate problem solving skills.
