Behaviour Mentor - Woking
Are you a recent Psychology Graduate looking to kick-start your career in the Mental Health Sector? A well-respected specialist school near Woking is looking for a Behaviour Mentor to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The students range between 10 and 16 years old and face various social, emotional, and mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, OCD, and behavioral issues. The ideal Behaviour Mentor must be open-minded, resilient, and knowledgeable about mental health.
The perfect candidate will have experience with SEN children and/or adults in any setting. Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, or Counselling would also be perfect for this position.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the mental health of vulnerable young people.
2. Act as a consistent role model and build strong relationships.
3. Provide intervention and pastoral support.
Details:
Start date: ASAP
Salary: £85-£100 per day, Mon-Fri, 8.30am-4pm, PAYE, term time only.
Excellent on-site education and training, support, and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students.
You MUST have the right to work in the UK in order to apply - no Visa sponsorship. Must be able to travel to Woking and surrounding areas.
