As a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a Buildings focus, you’ll advise on construction costs, contract management activities, and procurement strategy; monitor compliance of construction requirements and standards, and lead our team of Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers in Wales and the South.
As client-side Quantity Surveyor and Team Lead based in Cardiff, this is a challenging yet rewarding role working in a team of like-minded and driven professionals focused on project delivery and client satisfaction on a range of interesting and varied buildings projects.

Key Responsibilities:
* Advise on construction costs and contract management activities.
* Monitor compliance with construction requirements and standards.
* Lead a team of Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers.
* Provide analysis of project performance, supported by accurate data and modern systems.
* Engage with the wider supply chain as part of the client’s collaborative team.
Qualifications:
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
* Experience of working on historic, education, commercial, health, or defence projects in the UK or overseas.
* Chartered Membership of RICS or other professional body.
* Expertise and a working knowledge of NEC 3 or 4 and JCT.
* Experience using cost management tools such as Cost X or similar.
* Experience using contract management tools such as Aconex, CEMAR, or similar.
* Experience in leading highly motivated teams and mentoring staff.
* Management of projects including resourcing and financial performance.
* Bid management experience including preparation of quality submissions and fee proposals.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, planning, organizing, and strong time management skills.
* BSc (Hons) in a related degree.
* A full driving licence.
