About Our Client
My client is a growing manufacturing business.
Job Description
1. Deliver monthly management accounts
2. Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping and assist when required
3. Own support schedules/data (e.g. fixed asset registers, bank reconciliations, accrual/prepayment schedules)
4. Interrogate revenue reporting/system
5. Review VAT returns and assist with other tax work
6. Manage invoices payable system
7. Manage cashflow
8. Assist with audit fieldwork and review statutory accounts
9. Coordinate and review payroll
10. Manage finance team members (two direct reports)
11. Ensure bank loan compliance
12. Enhance processes to improve timeliness and quality of information
The Successful Applicant
1. Qualified accountant
2. SME experience, sub £30m
3. Happy being hands-on whilst also working with senior leaders & stakeholders
4. Proactive, able to take ownership, and be willing to lead and manage change
5. Team management experience
What's on Offer
1. Salary circa £65,000-£75,000
