Their operations department requires a Health and Safety Manager, who will be in charge of carrying out the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
* Reviewing all work procedures and ensuring they meet industry safety standards.
* Carrying out safety risks assessments prior to starting a new project.
* Ensuring safe installation of equipment and overseeing external contractors on site.
* Managing emergency procedures and ensuring that they are in place for when one occurs.
* Preparing and filing reports for accidents and other safety breaches.
* Conducting in-house training sessions on health and safety awareness.
* Ensuring inspections are carried out when needed.
* Staying up-to-date with health, safety and environment regulations.
* Creating and managing health and safety policies and monitoring systems.
* Making sure the business complies with health and safety legislation.
* Enhancing health and safety culture in the organisation.
Key Skills & Experience:
* BSc/BA in safety management or relevant field is preferred.
* Valid qualification in occupational health and safety.
* Construction site management experience (good understanding of CDM 2015).
* 5 years working experience in a similar role.
* Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies.
* Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment.
* Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
