Job summary To assist the trust in delivering its agenda, by supporting specifically the immunisation team in delivering a safe and efficient immunisation programme to the school aged children of Calderdale. Supporting the wider community division to deliver a high quality service in their areas of responsibility by providing an efficient and effective administration secretarial service. Main duties of the job Main task Liaising with schools within the calderdale locality and coordinating the delivery of the immunisation programme to meet strict timescales under the direction of the team leader To become the main link with schools Attend immunisation session in schools, meet and great students, facilitate the smooth running of the session Provide a caring and compassionate approach to children in line with the Trusts culture Stock ordering including vaccinations and safe storage of vaccines Stock take and document this according to the Trust requirements in a timely manor To use a variety of soft packages such as Microsoft word, outlook, excel Typing letters/reports using system one and other software packages Diary management Message taking Photocopying /scanning Arrange meetings and taking notes Co ordinating diaries and organise meetings within the agreed timescales Filing and archiving About us We employ more than 6,500 staffwho deliver compassionate care from our two main hospitals,Calderdale Royal Hospital and Huddersfield Royal Infirmary as well as in community sites, healthcentres and in patients' homes.
