Mechanical Lead Maintenance Engineer
Static/ site-based: Central London
Salary: £55,000 + bonus + overtime available + benefits

A leading player in the industry is currently looking for a Lead M&E Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to join their team, covering a prestigious, client-facing, commercial site in Central London.
The Role
As the Lead Mechanical Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in the following:
1. Mainly on-the-tools mechanical bias planned and reactive maintenance on AHUs, FCUs, HVAC, generators, etc.
2. Office-based duties such as RAMS, rotas, overseeing subcontractor works, etc.
3. Fill out required paperwork, attend team meetings, conduct site audits, and step up when the supervisor is on leave.
4. Working Mon-Fri with overtime available, paid at overtime rates. Rotating between earlies and lates, 7am-3pm and 1pm-10pm.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in the role of Mechanical Lead Engineer you’ll bring the following skills and experience:
1. Mechanical bias qualifications - C&G NVQ Level 3 minimum.
2. Experience in a facilities maintenance / M&E mechanical bias building service role is essential.
3. Lead or supervisor experience is essential.
4. Strong communication skills, client-facing.
5. Can-do attitude, willing to be flexible.
6. Commutable distance from Central London.
