Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Full or part-timereceptionist to join our expanding team. As a receptionist you will be requiredto provide a point of contact for patients and assist them in accessing theappropriate service or healthcare professional.
The successful applicant will need to be an excellent teamplayer, with experience in managing multiple tasks of a varied nature and haveexperience of dealing with the public. Experience within a similar role ispreferred but not necessary for the right candidate.
Main duties of the job
Previous General Practice experience and an understanding ofthe NHS is preferable but not essential as full training can be given.Experience in patient management, care navigator skills, being able total to peopleon the telephone, front desk reception work involving Face to face contactwith patients, excellent admin skills and a knowledge of SystmOne, Footfall andAccuRx is preferable, however full training can be given. There are alsoopportunities to diversify within the surgery.
