We are looking for a passionate and committed SEN Primary Teacher to join a friendly and well-established SEN school in Shrewsbury. This temp-to-perm role begins in January 2025 and offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of children with diverse learning needs.
Role Highlights:
1. Design and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons tailored to children with SEN.
2. Provide support to students with a range of needs, including autism, moderate learning difficulties (MLD), and complex requirements.
3. Collaborate with support staff and other professionals to foster a positive and nurturing learning environment.
4. Monitor and assess pupil progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
What We're Looking For:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Experience working with children with additional needs, ideally in an SEN setting.
3. Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
4. A patient, empathetic, and adaptable teaching style.
Requirements
1. Previous experience in a primary school setting or SEN school.
2. Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team.
3. Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
4. Have a QTS.
5. Have a DBS Certificate on the Update Service / Willing to obtain one.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is previous experience working in a primary school setting.
