We are partnering with a well-established renewable resources company looking to expand their internal team by hiring an experienced Laboratory Technician.
About the Role
As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining high-quality standards and contributing to innovative solutions. You will:
* Perform analysis on components, pilots, and water samples using in-house and industry-standard methods.
* Calibrate and standardise laboratory equipment in line with the quality management system.
* Blend a wide range of components and independently prepare additive solutions.
* Collaborate with the team to achieve quality and production targets.
* Proactively raise non-conformities and identify areas for improvement.
* Support the laboratory’s quality management system and MSDS creation in compliance with legislation.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
* Strong technical knowledge, communication, and organisational skills.
* A degree in Chemistry (or equivalent) – advantageous.
* Prior experience working in a laboratory – desirable.
* A keen interest in improving quality systems.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* The ability to think laterally and perform efficiently under pressure.
