We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Head of New Business Sales to lead our Business Development efforts and drive significant revenue growth. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the new business sales pipeline, setting and achieving targets, ramping up revenue growth, and accurately forecasting sales. You will oversee the development of a high-performing team, manage the new business budget, and report directly to the board on pipeline progress, sales performance, and strategic plans. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive new business sales strategy that supports DigitalXRAID’s growth goals. Set ambitious revenue and target ramp-up plans, ensuring the team meets or exceeds all objectives. Own and manage the new business sales pipeline, ensuring visibility, accuracy, and alignment with company growth targets. Provide regular pipeline updates, revenue forecasts, and performance reports to the board and senior management, highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommended actions. Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts based on pipeline activity, deal stages, and conversion rates. Use real-time data to forecast sales performance, ensuring the team remains on track to meet quarterly and annual targets. Identify risks and opportunities within the pipeline, adjusting forecasts and strategies to ensure target achievement. Provide rolling forecasts and updates to the board, allowing for proactive management of sales activities and budget planning. Sales Team Development: Build, develop, and lead a high-performing sales team, with a focus on driving new business. Create tailored coaching and training programmes to enhance your team’s skills in selling cyber security services. Mentor and support your team, holding them accountable for both individual and collective sales targets. Recruit and onboard new sales talent as the team grows to meet ramp-up targets. New Business Budget & Growth Planning: Manage the budget allocated for new business development, ensuring resource allocation is optimised for maximum return on investment (ROI). Collaborate with senior management to plan for scaling the new business pipeline and expanding the team as needed to meet target ramp-up objectives. Create detailed growth plans that include resource allocation, market expansion strategies, and innovative sales initiatives to drive sustained revenue growth. New Business Development: Actively seek new business opportunities through a multi-channel approach, including networking, outreach, and industry events. Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing, ensuring that deals align with business goals. Work closely with the marketing and internal teams to support lead generation efforts and ensure seamless go-to-market strategies. Build relationships with key decision-makers within target accounts, positioning DigitalXRAID as a trusted provider of cyber security services. Market Expansion & Partnerships: Identify and pursue opportunities for DigitalXRAID to expand into new markets and industries where cyber security services are in demand. Lead efforts to develop strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance DigitalXRAID’s market reach. Keep updated on industry trends, emerging cyber threats, and competitor activities, using these insights to refine your sales strategy and enhance service offerings. Core Requirements Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, with a strong track record of scaling new business revenue in the cyber security, IT services, or related industries. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies that deliver rapid growth and successful target ramp-ups. Experience in managing a sales pipeline, with expertise in forecasting and delivering accurate reports to senior leadership. Deep knowledge of cyber security services, including Pen Testing, Risk Management, and MSSP solutions. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to manage complex sales cycles and close high-value deals. Proven ability to build and manage budgets, with a focus on maximising ROI for new business activities. Proficiency in CRM systems and sales pipeline management tools.
