Role: Registered Care Home Manager

Salary: £60,000 + Bonus - DOE

Are you an experienced and compassionate leader in the healthcare sector? Do you have a passion for delivering exceptional care to the elderly, particularly those living with dementia? Our client is seeking a dedicated Registered Care Home Manager to manage their Residential and Dementia care home, lead and inspire their team, a well-established care home specialising in elderly and dementia care.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership and Management: Oversee the daily operations of the care home, ensuring a high standard of care is delivered to all residents.
2. Care Quality: Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, ensuring the home delivers person-centred care that enhances residents' quality of life.
3. Team Development: Lead, mentor, and support a team of care staff, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
4. Budget Management: Manage the home's financial operations, including staffing, resources, and budgets to ensure efficiency without compromising care.
5. Family and Resident Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with residents' families and the local community, ensuring transparency and excellent communication.
6. Care Planning: Ensure personalised care plans are developed and reviewed regularly for all residents, with a focus on dignity, respect, and promoting independence.
Requirements
1. Registered Manager Qualification: NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management or equivalent.
2. Either already a Registered Manager or currently an Assistant or Deputy Care Home Manager wanting your next step.
3. Proven experience managing a care home, particularly in elderly and dementia care settings.
4. Strong knowledge of dementia care best practices and regulatory requirements.
5. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
6. Passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
