MARKETING MANAGER JOB SUMMARY: We are working exclusively with this market leading employer in the Ringwood area, to recruit a Marketing Manager for their growing team. Although you will be working closely with the Marketing Director, and wider team, the successful candidate will be need to have the confidence to manage their own workload on a day to day basis, as well as relationships with outsourced agencies and other third parties. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MARKETING MANAGER: Campaign Execution: Plan and oversee all marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media, email, etc.) to generate leads and increase brand awareness Implement and monitor marketing strategies Implement and monitor strategies Brainstorm ideas for new campaigns Coordinate with the sales team and other departments to produce effective strategies Content Creation: Develop engaging and informative content, including website copy, blog posts, social media content (including reels), email newsletters, and marketing collateral Develop and implement effective social media ads across all social channels, increasing engagement and traffic / followers to the organisation Represent the marketing department at cross-functional groups including product management, sales, and customer support Work closely with the Marketing Director and the wider sales and marketing team, to launch PR initiatives and external events – liaising with external suppliers / agencies as required. Manage and monitor the Marketing budget – analysing spend and making suggestions for cost saving initiatives, or improvements for better ROI Data Analysis: Track and analyse key marketing metrics to measure campaign performance and identify areas for improvement. Ensure the company is communicating the right messaging to attract prospective customers and retain existing ones Building relationships with social media influencers and / or bloggers, working with them to promote increase brand awareness, through sponsored posts or partnerships and other social initiatives / projects. Project Management: Manage marketing projects from conception to completion, updating senior leadership on the progress of marketing activities and reporting on the results of campaigns and adherence to budget Travel: Occasional travel will be required to attend exhibitions, photo shoots and / or to visit media or other third party partners Identify new opportunities and content streams to help grow brand awareness and reach. SEO and PPC optimisation KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE MARKETING MANAGER POSITION: A minimum of 4-5 years experience in a similar Marketing Manager / Digital Marketing role is essential. Marketing degree (or similar) with a good level of commercial awareness Proven experience of SHOPIFY or similar platforms) A strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices (Google analytics and SEO) Excellent content / copy writing skills, and a creative mindset are essential for this role. Strong Project Management skills with the ability to prioritise, multi task and meet deadlines - essential A valid UK Driving Licence is required, as there will be occasional travel within this role. A self-motivated, forward-thinking approach is essential – you will be taking the lead as Marketing Manager, and whilst you will work closely with the Marketing Director, you will assume day to day responsibility for the majority of the marketing tasks, as noted above.
