Job description
Pembrokeshire County Council's Property Team is looking to recruit a Surveyor with general estate or property management experience.
The Council's property portfolio provides a varied and interesting workload consisting of farms, industrial properties, leisure facilities, retail, office, housing, ancient monuments, and more. You will work within the Operational Estate Management team to support the management of the Council’s Managed Estate. Previous experience of lettings, rent reviews, lease renewals, covenant restriction removal, and sale of land and properties is essential to assist colleagues with the future management of the local authority’s portfolio.
A RICS qualification is desirable but not essential if you have comprehensive estate/property management experience. Public sector experience is also desirable but not essential. You will need to be confident in dealing with tenants, residents, and councillors, and work closely with other internal departments.
Corporate membership of the RICS (MRICS or FRICS) or considerable experience in dealing with property matters and working towards RICS is essential for this post. The role is hybrid with a minimum of two days in the office.
A full clean driving license is a requirement for this role.
