Who are we? First Subsea, based in Lancaster and part of the First Tech Group, has gone through a major transition in the last five years, transitioning from oil and gas projects to offshore renewables projects where we supply a range of bespoke and patented products, such as; lifting and recovery tools, and cable protection systems. All our products are designed, assembled and tested in-house and we have recently opened a dedicated manufacturing & production facility for our cable protection systems. As demand has grown for the products and services provided by First Subsea, the need for talented people has also grown in parallel. The Role? Due to continued growth we are seeking an experienced HSEQ Coordinator to join the team in Lancaster, on a full time, permanent basis. Responsible for the implementation and management of applicable HSEQ regulations, policies, and industry standards along with managing internal and external audits and tracking HSEQ performance and compliance. The successful candidate will hold extensive experience within a similar role, hold knowledge of BS EN ISO 9001 2015, 14001 and OHSAS 45001 certifications be self motivated with the ability to use initiative to propose and implement improvements to work practices whilst remaining an effective communicator will all stakeholders both internally and externally. You will also ideally hold the following certifications; NEBOSH National Certificate, IOSH Managing Safely and Internal Auditor. What will you do? Assist the HSEQ Manager to maintain the ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 Management System. Implement policies into company procedures liaising with the Management Teams when required. Participate in HSEQ initiatives, innovations, programs, and processes throughout the businesses. Attend HSEQ Meetings as required. Frequent site visits to ensure a thorough understanding of business operations. Maintain internal and Supplier Audits to demonstrate compliance with all Management Systems. Assist the HSEQ Manager to produce reports to monitor the performance of HSEQ. Liaise with third parties such as customers, outside inspectors, Local Authorities or HSE to address external issues with the support of the HSEQ Manager where required. Maintain HSEQ Training Matrix within the company HRMS. Contribute to, develop, and implement a HSEQ continuous improvement process. Promote HSEQ awareness and Safe working practice via toolbox talks etc. Support the HSEQ Manager in supporting personnel at all levels to maintain the HSEQ culture onsite. Assist the HSEQ Manager in monitoring HSEQ performance through inspections and audits. Assessing and undertaking Risk Assessments. Assessing and documenting Safe Systems of Work. Responsible for the documentation of all Non-Conformances, Corrective Action Reports and customer complaints ensuring effective workflow through the teams to ensure a full and detailed close out updating the HSEQ Manager throughout. Assist with any other duties as required. Your Qualifications & Experience: Essential Extensive experience within a similar role. Knowledge of BS EN ISO 9001 2015, 14001 and OHSAS 45001 certifications. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. NEBOSH National Certificate Preferred ISO Certification Internal Auditor Certification You: Hold the ability to muti-task and adapt to changing working conditions.
