Job Description
The key duties are as follows:
1. Providing financial support to the Accounting & Finance department.
2. Participating in budgeting and forecasting processes.
3. Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports.
4. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
5. Contributing to financial audits and investigations.
6. Assisting in the development of financial policies and procedures.
7. Collaborating with other departments to improve financial efficiency.
8. Supporting ad hoc financial projects as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful 8A Financial Accountant should have:
1. Previous NHS experience.
2. Accountancy Qualification.
3. Strong numerical and analytical skills.
4. Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting procedures.
5. Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office suite.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
7. A high level of integrity and discretion.
