Role Summary
We are delighted to offer this opportunity to a candidate who is enthusiastic, willing to learn, self motivated and has a positive approach to their role. The successful candidate will be joining a supportive clinical team, providing the administrative expertise to the Perinatal Pathway for Vaccinations service.
This is a new role for RDUH and an exciting time to be a part of improvements to our current immunisation service. This administrative role will support the oversight of our Vaccination programme by collating quality data, which will help to inform improvements to our service which the clinical team provide.
Administration experience and computer literacy is required, training and support will be given to understand the Perinatal Pathway in more detail. Whilst an administrative role, there will be regular contact with service users, especially via telephone communication. This will be to support the making or rearranging of appointments in a location that is beneficial to the service user.
The post holder will be responsible for completing and monitoring both local and national vaccination systems ensuring national requirements are being met, the information will contribute towards local and national reporting.

Perinatal Pathway for Vaccination Fail safe Officer
The post holder will complete and monitor systems on a daily basis to ensure national requirements are being met and identify any areas of concern to the relevant clinical team.
They will be available to answer any telephone enquiries and follow up with appointments where needed to ensure the pathway is offered to service users in the optimal time frame.
They will provide high quality data to the clinical team ready for national submission of activity reports and enhanced data reporting.
They will liaise closely with the relevant team to ensure the smooth running of the Vaccination service. This will include the attendance at meetings where needed.
They will contribute to audits where needed with the aim to optimise the delivery of the Perinatal Vaccination pathway.
Working Pattern: This will be across the working week, Monday to Friday, typically within office hours.
