About Our Client
My client is a historic manufacturer of parts to the construction and building industry based in Nottinghamshire. The business has been in operation for over 112 years and is one of the largest suppliers in Europe. Due to a huge increase in orders they are now actively looking to recruit a new team member for their stores & inventory department.
Job Description
As a Inventory & Warehouse Analyst you will report daily into the Logistics Manager who is based on site in Nottingham. You will be responsible for the entirety of a small, but heavily successful, warehouse - taking lead of all matters of stock control, inventory management, inbound and outbound distribution. You will also cover the following areas:
* Stock management and inventory control to ensure movements are correctly communicated to the office for stock records to be adjusted.
* Conducting all on-site Health & Safety, along with daily checks and accident investigation.
* Hands on role - will need to be part of the team and assist operatives in completing day to day duties.
* To coach, mentor and display a lead by example approach.
* In conjunction with the master production schedule, monitor daily production and packing targets to ensure on track, any deviation recovery plans to be considered with the Manufacturing Supervisor.
* Responsibility for the schedule adherence KPI.
* To maintain a high levels of 5'S in all warehouses, stores, manufacturing buildings, containers, magazines and packing.
* Ensure all stock in warehouses, stores and magazines are correctly identified and stored.
* Manage and control, materials, sub-assemblies and finished goods to maintain building licence requirements.
* Maintain accurate stock levels and control of live / inert parts and weapons through cycle / random stock counts and audits.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Inventory & Warehouse Analyst will have the following background skills & experience:
* 3+ years in stores and inventory logistics in a manufacturing environment.
* High levels of computer literacy and stock / systems management.
* Awareness of Health & Safety within a manufacturing environment.
