Start date: 1 st September 2025 The Governors of St Patrick s RC High School are looking to appoint an excellent Lead Teacher in Geography, who will be responsible for demonstrating strong leadership of curriculum design, teaching and learning, assessment and personal development. Main purpose The Lead Teacher will take responsibility for: Supporting the Head of Humanities in ensuring the Geography curriculum is compliant, well-sequenced, rigorous and relevant. Planning high-quality Geography lessons and producing excellent teaching and learning resources. Monitoring the quality of teaching and learning across Geography lessons. Designing high-quality assessments for KS3 and KS4 Geography. Supporting the Head of Humanities in analysing and responding to Geography assessment data to maximise achievement for all pupils. Ensuring pupils education in Geography contributes to their wider personal development. Leading opportunities for enrichment and co-curricular activities linked to the Geography curriculum, including fieldwork.
