A diverse and exciting role, you will be delivering active travel campaigns targeting parents, students and staff in schools. Whilst this role is not classroom based you will need to engage directly with students through assemblies and classroom sessions. Key aims are: Increasing active travel to school Increase the number of schools with a School Travel Plan Collect and analyse Mode of Travel data to monitor trends and need for intervention Write newsletters for schools and social media content. This is a fun and rewarding role with a serious message. Active travel has cross-cutting benefits including health and well-being, road safety and air quality. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching or training, delivering outcome-based initiatives.
