Your new company
Working for a company on the outskirts of Bristol, on a hybrid basis (3 days per week on-site, 2 days remote working) to start ASAP on a short 2-month interim contract.
Your new role
1. Handle logging, assignment, and timely resolution of incidents, problems, and service requests; escalate when needed
2. Manage user onboarding and offboarding processes
3. Control access to networked resources
4. Provide onsite and remote support to end users
5. Install, update, and troubleshoot software
6. Communicate with end users and follow up on open and pending tickets
7. Identify and suggest improvements to IT services
8. Supply new hardware and reimage existing devices
9. Troubleshoot hardware issues
What you'll need to succeed
1. Experience working within an IT Support environment, ideally in a 1st / 2nd Line IT Support role
2. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11, macOS, and Active Directory administration
3. Experience of managing Cloud technologies such as Office 365, including Exchange Online (with Advanced Threat Protection), SharePoint & Teams, and Microsoft Azure
4. Experience with SQL Server (or equivalent)
5. Experience working within an ITIL environment
