We aim to develop engaging user journeys and multimedia content to reach and support children, young people, and their families across the UK, while also supporting our colleagues in the Research, Health, Youth Support, and Fundraising teams to achieve their goals. What you'll do: Are you passionate about creating seamless and engaging digital experiences? As our Web Editor, you'll play a crucial role in reviewing and optimising user journeys and topic clusters to develop cohesive and optimised user experiences on our website. Content Creation: Develop new written content for our websites and write briefs for multimedia requirements Implementation: Implement approved plans on the website and make recommendations for website development as needed. Maintenance: Ensure web content is up-to-date and the user experience is optimised. Key Responsibilities: User journey design: Design and implement user journeys that guide visitors through the website, ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience. Content creation and editing: Create and edit content to bring these user journeys to life, ensuring it is ready for publishing and aligns with our brand guidelines. SEO optimisation: Implement SEO best practices across multimedia to improve website accessibility, visibility, and search rankings. Analytics: Monitor website traffic and user engagement using analytics tools and use this data to inform improvements to user journeys and page layouts accordingly. Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team, SEO agency, and other stakeholders to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and supports the goals of the Health Information, Medical Research, Youth Support, and Fundraising teams. What You'll Bring: Proven experience as a Web Editor, Content Manager, or similar role. Expertise in SEO, including the development of SEO topic clusters and keyword research. Strong skills in user journey planning and optimisation. Excellent storytelling abilities, with a knack for creating engaging and impactful content. Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and web analytics tools. Strong research skills and attention to detail. Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
