Job Description The Rail Wales & Western Regional Director will work collaboratively with the other Rail, Structural & Ground Engineering Regional Leads and would have an oversight of the Rail projects. This person will be responsible for leadership of the Wales and Western Region for the Rail sector: from stakeholder engagement and client intelligence to Business development budget and pipeline management, winning and delivering frameworks and projects, managing the P&L and associated KPIs and ensuring appropriate governance / reviews are used throughout bidding, project management and design delivery. Traditionally this region provides several resources which support major pursuits in other Regions as well as delivering its own projects. Key external stakeholders include Network Rail, West of England Combined Authority (WECA) and a number of D&B (Framework) Contractors. Experience Previous experience in leading a P&L Previous experience in leading a team size of >50 FTE Experience in engineering design in consultancy, rail or construction sector Confident and knowledgeable in the importance of safety and quality in design
