Our client is a leading Energy Company who are now seeking aDocument Controller on a contract basis due to increased demand.
Duties:
• Develop relationships with the project teams toensure that the process is fullyunderstood and any changes are communicated effectively.
• Implement the learned processes asan active party to ensure that all projects gain from accumulated projectexperience.
• Oversee the transaction reviewprocess, ensuring that the data accurately reflects all approved documents asrequired by the transaction.
• Follow standards and procedures toensure all transaction documentation is identified, recorded, reviewed andshared as directed.
• Become an expert in the use of thetransaction database tools to ensure all documentation is uploaded in aconsistent format.
• Become familiar with general projecttools to move/rename/check large volumes of files for load up.
• Manage the Data content via Exceland Access to ensure all standard reports can be accessed and contain rely uponinformation on a real time basis.
• Have an understanding of the overalltransaction model as it relates to the Document requirement.
• Develop innovative and creativesolutions to resolve conflicts internally and within the team.
Experience Required:
• Experience in a Senior or LeadDocument Management role
• Understanding of Energy Sectordocumentation and how the management of information is key to a successfulproject.
• Significant Document Managementexperience.
• Experience with MS Office.
• Ability to work to tight deadlinesand within a highly pressurised environment.
• Excellent communication skills, bothverbal and written.
• Ability to communicate at all levelsboth internally and externally.
• Self-motivated and able to managetime effectively.
• Good knowledge of IT applications /systems.
