Job summary We are looking for a qualified Mental Health Nurse to join the Perinatal Mental Health Team, covering pan CTM on a fixed term contract for a six month period. The post holder will have responsibility for working within the multi-disciplinary Perinatal Mental Health Team as a Community Psychiatric Nurse providing targeted and specific assessments and interventions within Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. This post is Fixed Term for 6 months to cover a secondment. Main duties of the job The post holder will have responsibility for implementing evidence based practice, monitoring and evaluating clinical interventions/practice and undertaking specialist Perinatal Mental Health Assessments referred to the service in line with the agreed protocols. The post holder will participate in the provision of specialist service/interventions across the specialist service utilizing a recovery focused model in Primary and Secondary Care settings. The post holder will facilitate an integrated Perinatal Assessment Clinic collaboratively with midwives and health visitors, based in antenatal clinics, working seamlessly across relevant disciplines to provide a robust early identification and preventative Perinatal intervention. The postholder will be responsible for organizing daily workload, prioritizing workload of self and other team members to ensure coordination and service delivery.
