Commercial Account ExecutiveWorking options | office-based with optional rotational remote working in line with divisional requirementsWorking pattern | full timeWorking hours | 37.5 (Monday – Friday) hours per weekReports to | Managing Director, Insurance What we’re looking for: As a Commercial Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing, longstanding commercial accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving best in class renewal and sales targets. You will drive new business opportunities and generate new business leads.The role will include sourcing and contacting leads within our chosen markets, arranging and hosting sales and relationship meetings, and converting prospects into new business. You will also be expected to maintain existing insurer relationships and seek out new insurance partners to meet the needs of our customers.You will be responsible for identifying suitable opportunities through proactive outreach which will include outbound calls, event attendance, drop in visits and webinars.You will also be responsible for key clients ensuring the service provided is second to none, visiting and providing best advice at all times.This role requires someone who enjoys getting out there to meet existing and new clients, understanding and managing their needs with the ability to develop effective sales strategies, and execute them to achieve desired outcomes.Some of the things you'll get up to:Delivering the agreed Business Development strategy to secure new clients and retain key clients in each of the Insurance product linesBuilding and managing profitable partnerships with new and existing clients and suppliers, ensuring this is built upon mutual respect and integrity at all timesProactively identifying new leads, initiating contact and following through to completion; this is to include arranging and attending client meetings, attending industry events, and informal visits to potential new clients and insurance suppliersCollaborating with internal departments and key teammates to ensure customer satisfaction and drive revenue growthPreparing sales reports, and providing regular updates to senior managementManaging the renewal register, re-broking as and where necessaryIdentifying cross selling opportunities for other HF products and servicesProviding the best advice and guidance to customers and prospects in a transparent and honest way; this will mean keeping your knowledge up to dateContributing to and participating in marketing initiatives, providing innovative ideas and suggestions to grow the businessWe’d like you to have: Experience:Extensive insurance sales experience in the commercial property, commercial combined markets and high net worth residential marketsProven relationship management and sales experience with strong communication and presentation skillsKnowledge:Qualified to a minimum of Cert CII status with ACII status being beneficialKnowledge of Acturis will be useful; support can be givenA good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages particularly using Excel and PowerPoint to a high standardSkills:Highly motivated, self-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a teamDrive and determination with the ability to find and implement innovative solutions to problemsExcellent customer service skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to communicate clearly and precisely in an open and transparent wayConfidence to deal and negotiate effectively with large clientsAbility to effectively analyse data, reach conclusions, make recommendations, and produce reportsThe ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and keep promises within a fast-moving environment Must be able to travel within the UK as required, including overnightBenefits: 23 days holiday + UK bank holidaysLife assurancePrivate health care for you and dependentsEmployee assistance programme, including GP line, cashback for treatments, advice lineSeason ticket loanRental deposit loanAnnual leave purchase schemeAs part of the HFIS Group, access to discounted personal insurance is availableAt HFIS we value development and progression of all our people and so we also offer financial support for studying towards professional qualifications plus study time.
