We are seeking a professional to work with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with mental health issues.
The successful candidate will have the chance to develop their skills in assessing and supporting children with SEN, including those with mental health concerns. They will also contribute to developing strategies to support children's well-being and resilience.
This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference in children's lives and committed to ongoing learning and professional development.
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
* Assessing and supporting children with SEN, including those with mental health concerns
* Developing strategies to support children's well-being and resilience
* Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and carers to provide high-quality support services
* Contributing to the development of policies and procedures related to SEN and mental health
* Participating in ongoing learning and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
* Degree in Psychology or a related field
* Experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with mental health concerns
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers
