Main duties of the job
Working closely with the Facilities Services Manager, you will have day to day responsibility for leading and managing a range of cleaning and catering services and projects within Facilities services.
Working with the quality monitoring team you will be responsible for ensuring a comprehensive monitoring system is in place to support the delivery of the combined housekeeping & patient catering contract.
Attending the monthly performance meeting with contracted providers, you will support compliance monitoring against contract standards.
Driving and coordinating the Trust's Our Place programme you will have an inclusive approach to improve the environment and services for our patients and staff bringing together a multi-disciplinary team to assess improvement requirements in the overall patient environment.
You will be required to liaise with and influence senior clinical staff for the betterment of the patient environment and patient food service delivery.
Working with a range of stakeholders, you will be required to understand complex contracting information, articulating the parameters and expectations of each service contract within the portfolio. This is required to ensure contracts are delivered in line with expectation constantly seeking to improve the quality outcomes.
To support the provision of a high quality food service by being the responsible and accountable person for ensuring oversight between the Trust and the sub-contracted food service providers.

* Diploma in Quality Management/ Contract Management or working towards, or equivalent experience

* NVQ Level 4 Facilities Management (to be achieved within two years of taking post)
