JOB TITLE: Regional Security Operations Manager
LOCATION: Various Locations Across the UK
CONTRACT: Permanent
HOURS: 40 hours per week
SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday
PAY RATE: Competitive Salary based on experience
ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
As the Security Operations Manager, you will support the day-to-day operational and business requirements of the security contracts in line with customer and contractual expectations. The post holder will need to ensure regular reviews are carried out on existing processes to ascertain best practice and ensure compliance.
You will work collaboratively with other members of operational management and support functions to ensure the continued implementation of innovative processes. A key area of focus in this role will be to further develop relationships with intelligence partners and work closely alongside the Security Compliance Manager to ensure the highest standards are maintained as a recognised industry pacesetter.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Establish contact and attend regular meetings with local area CTSA Officers.
* Sign up for membership of Security Agencies for intelligence gathering (e.g., PSO London Shield, IFPO UK, URIM).
* Gather and collate up-to-date Security Intelligence Information and produce an ABM Weekly Intelligence Brief to be shared with all.
* Develop and maintain the security strategy and its implementation.
* Ensure all security updates and alerts are notified to the wider teams in a timely manner.
* Provide ongoing security advice and assistance to the management teams when required.
* Assist with Security Tender Bids and site walkarounds.
* Undertake site visits and assist with Annual Audits if required.
* Maintain the Company Alerting System F24 and send out the monthly test and security alerts as required.
* Review, update, and onboard our Training and Security Providers ensuring that any Security Provider is ACS Approved.
* Keep the Security Nucleus up to date with relevant information.
* Build a good working relationship with our clients, site leads, and staff.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
* A full Driving Licence.
* Hold a SIA Front Line Licence (either Security Guarding, Door Supervision, or Close Protection).
* A SIA CCTV Licence is desirable.
* Excellent administrative skills.
* Outstanding organisational and leadership skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexible approach to your working day and times.
* Working knowledge of security legislation and Health & Safety requirements.
* Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
* Solid understanding of statistical data analysis.
* Working knowledge of MS Office.
* Working knowledge of the CSAS Scheme.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
Understand the role and duties of the Security Compliance Manager and deputise in his absence. Main duties include but are not limited to the following:
* Complete and send Monthly Report.
* Send out SIA Business Links when required.
* Action all SIA Licence renewals.
* Update SIA Licence Receipts with site details and send to accounts.
* Action and issue all LDN Requests when requested.
* Maintain and update Annual Licence Cost Register.
* Maintain and Update Master SIA Licence and ID Card Register.
* Maintain and Update Master Compliments & Complaints Register.
* Maintain and Update Master Security Site Risk Register.
* Complete Scheduled audits and update tracker if required.
