Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer required to join a leading mechanical engineering supplier.
The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer will provide mechanical repair, service and maintenance on various pump systems including submersible, hydraulic, diesel engines, electric motors, and other similar pump solutions at customer sites in and around Nottingham. Full product training provided.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer Role
1. Provide mechanical repair, service and maintenance on various pump systems including submersible, hydraulic, diesel engines, electric motors, gearboxes and other similar pump solutions.
2. Undertake planned and preventative maintenance at customer sites across the Midlands areas (Nottingham, Derby, Leicester). Full product training provided.
3. Install pump systems and pipework into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
4. Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various pump equipment.
5. Liaise with various engineering departments.
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer Requirements
1. Mechanical service background in mechanical engineering products such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, valves, pipework, filtration, plant machinery and or similar mechanical engineering equipment.
2. Proven mechanics from within the vehicle trade are encouraged to apply.
3. Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Hydraulic Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, Workshop Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Installation Engineer, Pump Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or similar.
4. The ability to maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
5. Good working knowledge of three-phase electrics is advantageous.
6. A technical engineering degree/qualification or apprentice trained would be advantageous.
7. Willingness to cover the Midlands area (Nottingham, Derby, Leicester).
