Salary: £25,000- £27,000
Looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Showroom & Parts Assistant to join my clients team, reporting directly to the Parts & Showroom Manager.
This role is a mix of retail showroom sales and hands-on parts/goods management. You’ll be working across a wide range of products, including parts, hardware, clothing, and groundcare machinery. A strong focus on customer service is essential, as you'll be supporting customers both in-person and over the phone.
You will also oversee the daily operation of the goods inward area and take charge of parts and showroom-related deliveries, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver excellent customer service at all times
* Support day-to-day retail sales in the showroom
* Assist customers with product and service enquiries (in-person and via phone)
* Receive and distribute incoming goods and deliveries
* Process and unpack incoming stock, supplier parcels, and internal transfers
* Manage customer delivery/collection shelves
* Keep stock levels accurate through regular checks
* Support technicians with parts identification
* Maintain showroom displays and manage stock rotation
* Load and unload company vehicles as required
* Process payments (cash, cheque, and card) accurately
What My Client is Looking For:
* Knowledge of agricultural and horticultural machinery/parts (preferred)
* Previous retail or showroom experience (desirable)
* Excellent communication skills (in-person, phone, email)
* Team player with the ability to work independently
* Physically fit to manage stock and deliveries
* A full, valid UK driving licence
