We are seeking an experienced Finance Data Manager to support the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of our new Planning Tool ("Tagetik") within our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, who is leading the implementation, this role will be responsible for ensuring seamless database integration, data accuracy, and system performance. The Data Manager will work closely with finance, IT, and external consultants to support financial planning, reporting, and forecasting needs. This is a key initiative within our Finance Transformation programme. It is important that you share our passion for improvement and can help us explore the full capabilities of our new technology. Key responsibilities: Tagetik Implementation & Support: Play a leading tole in driving the successful implementation of Tagetik, supporting the Head of FP&A in ensuring seamless integration with financial systems and delivering our business case. Manage data migration, mapping, and validation to maintain financial data integrity. Configure and optimize Tagetik reporting, budgeting, and consolidation modules in line with FP&A requirements. Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for FP&A teams during and after implementation. Database Administration & Performance Management: Oversee database setup, maintenance, and security for Tagetik. Optimize query performance, indexing, and storage to ensure smooth system operation. Ensure data governance, compliance, and financial reporting accuracy. Manage ETL processes to streamline data integration between Tagetik, ERP, and other financial systems. Develop backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans for financial data. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with the FP&A, Business Partnering team, Finance Transformation team, IT/Change and Tagetik/EY consultants to align system capabilities with business needs. Act as a technical advisor, ensuring the database structure supports FP&A's reporting and forecasting objectives. Assist in training and documentation, helping FP&A teams effectively use the system. In this role we’d really like you to be/have: Experience working within FP&A or corporate finance functions as a Data Manager with financial systems. Expertise in SQL or Oracle similar relational database, Experience with Tagetik or similar financial planning/consolidation tools (e.g., Anaplan, Hyperion, SAP BPC, OneStream). Familiarity with financial data structures, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Strong ETL, data warehousing, and automation skills (SQL, Python, PowerShell). Good working knowledge and application of data governance, financial compliance (GAAP, IFRS), and regulatory reporting. Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday) is a plus. Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
