Succoth Ward, Acute Mental Health Inpatient ward in Argyll and Bute would welcome and invite applications from newly qualified or qualifying mental health nurses or current band 5 nurses that are passionate about quality and compassionate care.
We are currently offering an additional financial premium of £5000 per annum pro rata for all our inpatient band 5 Registered staff nurses until 2026 and where able will assist you with reduced price accommodation on the campus grounds.
The ward currently has 16 beds and accepts admissions from within Argyll and Bute to meet the needs of patients with varied and complex mental health issues.
The team is Multidisciplinary and dynamic with onsite occupational therapy input and liaison with Community mental health and crisis teams in various locations

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
