About the role:
* Efficiently planning, prioritizing, and allocating client work to ensure seamless team workflow.
* Establishing scope and budget for each client project, communicating likely fees in advance for optimal fee recovery.
* Monitoring work progress, maintaining effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders, and addressing key issues.
* Tracking individual and team performance against objectives and departmental KPIs.
* Conducting formal and informative appraisals for direct team members.
* Providing on-the-job training and support for Armstrong Watson students and trainees.
* Contributing to departmental incremental fee targets through networking, attending meetings, participating in business pitches, and contributing to marketing strategy.
The ideal candidate will have:
* ACA/ACCA/ICAS qualification.
* Sound understanding of relevant UK taxes (e.g., Corporation Tax, VAT, PAYE) and their presentation in financial statements.
* Proficiency in the International Standards on Auditing (UK and Ireland) variant.
