The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support the educational and personal development of pupils with diverse and complex needs. You will be instrumental in creating a positive learning environment, using innovative and engaging approaches to help pupils achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting individual pupils and small groups to foster learning and development.
* Preparing classrooms and resources to meet lesson objectives.
* Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage interaction and confidence.
* Assisting in the delivery of creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.
Your Skills and Experience:
While prior experience in an SEN/ASC environment is beneficial, what matters most is your commitment, resilience, and enthusiasm for helping young people succeed.
This role is particularly suited to individuals from customer-facing sectors such as hospitality, retail, or leisure who are looking for a meaningful career shift into education.
To Succeed, You Will Need:
* GCSEs at grade C or above in Maths and English.
* A calm, empathetic, and engaging personality.
* A collaborative mindset and a passion for empowering young people to achieve their goals.
