We are expanding our team and seeking a qualified Sales Representative focused on driving sales and service excellence to grow our community. This role involves engaging with clients daily and fostering a supportive environment.
Position:
The Sales Representative assists the General Manager with new membership sales by attracting new members, building relationships, providing positive experiences, and guiding them through the sales process. The role also involves retaining current members and delivering excellent customer service. Experience in boutique fitness is preferred but not required. Shifts are primarily mornings (8am-2pm) and evenings (4pm-8pm) on weekdays, with weekend rotations.
Responsibilities:
* Generate leads, follow up, and close sales
* Conduct facility tours, establishing relationships and understanding individual goals
* Maintain personal sales targets
* Promote the club’s fitness and wellness objectives
* Present services to prospective and current members
* Schedule quality appointments to meet sales quotas
* Participate in promotional events and community outreach
* Develop selling skills continually
* Process transactions accurately
* Follow up with prospective clients
* Manage retail inventory
* Complete training programs
* Capture photos for social media
* Maintain cleanliness of retail areas, studio, and restrooms
* Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
* Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills
* Warm, engaging personality
* Ability to build strong customer relationships
* Goal-oriented with a focus on memberships, retail, and private training sales
* Self-motivated and proactive
* Ability to learn and utilize ClubReady software
* Strong communication skills via in-person, phone, and email
* Organizational and multi-tasking abilities
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Proficient computer skills
* Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

The ideal candidate is available to work 2-3 shifts weekly, primarily evenings, with some weekend shifts. Compensation starts at $12.50/hr, plus bonuses and commissions. The role involves making a minimum of 20 calls per shift to prospective members, along with emails and texts. Due to COVID-19, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation is also essential.
