PURPOSE
The Senior Marketing Executive works withthe NMG marketing team to deliver effective marketing campaigns across theportfolio. They will produce high-quality marketing material and coordinatemarketing activities to ensure campaigns are on schedule and within budget.This role uses multiple marketing channels and requires effective communicationskills to build effective relationships with key internal stakeholders andexternal partners.
This role would suit a marketer that hasbeen a marketing executive for at least two years and enjoys being busy andproductive. They need to be able to multi-task, be organised, and takes responsibilityand pride in their work. It would especially suit someone who likes to work ina team but relishes the challenge of running solo campaigns too.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Can analyse previous results anddevise campaign plans to reach the desired target numbers.
* Can execute a multi-channel marketing effectivelyand this includes running several plans concurrently.
* Can produce high-quality,response-driven marketing campaigns that integrate online and offline marketingactivities, using a full range of cost-effective and targeted promotional techniques(including direct marketing, advertising, email marketing, social mediamarketing, PPC, paid social, live events, webinars, reader surveys etc.).
* Records and monitors registration,email, social channels, and website performance to understand what is driving attribution.Regularly reports this and uses this information to tailor on-going campaigns.
* Closely tracks marketing spend accuratelyand ensures adherence to agreed budgets.
* Writes and edits high-quality,compelling copy, which is accurate and grammatically correct, making sure thatall printed and online communications demonstrate the defined value propositionfor the brand.
* Develops and maintains all relevantmarketing and sales collateral to support marketing campaigns and definedcommercial needs.
* Works closely with and regular updates,the Senior Marketing Manager and marketing team on activity, campaign progressand potential concerns relating to activity and workload.
* Creates and maintains effectiveworking relationships with internal stakeholders and third-party partners viatelephone, written communication, and face-to-face meetings, ensuring marketingactivity is fully aligned to the needs of the portfolio.
* Demonstrates industry awareness andaudience understanding (visitor, exhibitor, reader etc), identifying keycompetitors, monitoring industry news and market trends.

* Shows strong project management andorganisation skills and can manage simultaneous projects to tight deadlines andprioritise tasks as determined by the line manager or the company.
* Manages time effectively keepingplanning documents and materials up to date (schedules, Gantt charts, art roomschedules, sponsorship documentation etc).
* Good copywriting and proofreadingskills and demonstrates attention to detail in their work and others.
* Has a good knowledge of social media.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Is a good listener and learner.
* Shows aptitude not to make the samemistakes repeatedly.
* Is interested and gets involved in thetechnology that drives marketing like AI, meetings platforms, registrationsystems, CMS, and ESP etc.
* Computer literate with good knowledgeof I.T. including Microsoft Office, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, andOutlook.
SUCCESS MEASURES
* Works closely with the SeniorMarketing Manager and the Group Marketing Director to deliver marketing across theportfolio.
* Is pro-active and takes responsibilityfor products and projects.
* Can create ample time to plancampaigns effectively throughout the year.
* Is aware of the bigger picture andworks with line manager to develop compelling brand propositions for each brandproduct to ensure targets are achieved.
* Delivers high quality marketingmaterials requiring minimal edits/amendments which align with the valueproposition for each of their defined products.
* Shows an understanding of the eventscycle and the subsequent workload peaks and troughs.
* Demonstrates a deep understanding ofaudience and products.
