We are looking for permanent, part-time Support Workers to work alongside, coach, and mentor Rangatahi in our Intensive Support Services in Christchurch.
Responsibilities
Our Support Workers assist Rangatahi and Tamariki who access our services to live as independently as possible in their community. You will:
1. Work as a team to ensure consistency in your approach
2. Support Tamariki or Rangatahi to go to school or access education
3. Observe and respond to health concerns or support the overall health and wellbeing of the young person
4. Support Rangatahi/young people to work towards and attain their goals and improve outcomes

Who are we looking for?

1. A desire to support our Rangatahi/young people to learn new skills and achieve outcomes
2. Previous experience working with young people/Rangatahi
3. An understanding of Intellectual disability and Autism
4. Creativity, 'out of the box' thinking, and a team player
5. A full NZ driver's licence
