The Role
Plumber Multi Permanent Opportunity! Due to continued successful growth, we have an excellent permanent opportunity to join our Fortem team working with Longhurst Housing as a Plumber /Multi trade. The Plumber Multi will cover most aspects of property maintenance and repairs covering a patch which stretches from Peterborough, Spalding, Wisbech, Stamford, Rutland, Oundle, down to Huntingdon and St Neots. Therefore travel is essential. Core Hours are Monday-Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm + generous On call (Average 1 in every 8 weeks). This will involve carrying out repairs and maintenance to Social Housing properties, ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard with the minimum of supervision. The Plumber Multi takes ownership of work, aiming for 'First time Fix' on all jobs, operating within the company Health and Safety guidelines, and remaining within budget and time parameters.
The Project
The Plumber Multi Duties will include:
1. Completing planned works for voids and responsive repairs and maintenance as per the specification, working in a timely and productive manner.
2. Advising Supervisor in a timely manner when other trades are required.
3. Working in partnership with other operatives to complete projects.
4. Recording and submitting accurate data using relevant business systems electronic devices.
5. Affording excellent customer service to client representatives.
6. Arranging purchase of materials required to deliver the works in a planned and efficient manner.
7. Comply with safeguarding policy and H&S standards at all times.
8. Operating within the company’s occupational road risk policies and procedures.

Essential and Desirable Criteria
The successful Plumber Multi trade will meet the following criteria:
Essential criteria:
NVQ/City & Guilds qualifications in Plumbing or equivalent / OR Qualified by experience will be considered.
Full UK driving licence (max 5 points).
Desirable:
Social housing experience.
