About The Role
Created by the founder of allpay, Carriages Restaurant is Herefordshire's home of fine dining, offering imaginative seasonal menus in an elegant setting. Building on this success, last year we launched The Sidings at Carriages, a brunch cafe and farm shop, set inside two beautifully converted vintage train carriages.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for two talented Chef's to join us under the Carriages umbrella: One Chef de Partie/Junior Sous for the Carriages Restaurant and one for The Sidings.
This is an incredible opportunity to refine your skills alongside some of the best chefs in Herefordshire. Whether it is crafting exquisite fine dining dishes at Carriages or creating vibrant brunch plates at the Sidings, you will play a key role in delivering food in a truly unique setting.
Working 37.5 hours per week which offers you the perfect work life balance. On top of your salary, we offer a share of the tips. The salary range for the role is from £25,000 up to £28,000, dependant on level of skills and experience.
As a Chef de Partie/Junior Sous, you will be: Assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in managing kitchen operations.
Prepare and present fine dining dishes with precision and creativity.
Contribute to menu development with innovative ideas and seasonal ingredients.
Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness regulations.
