Field Service Co-ordinator

Field Service Coordination is part of the Medical Service Business Unit (MSBU) comprising Field Service Engineers, Service Contract Sales, Uptime Support, Service Engineering, and Field Service Coordination.
This role within the Field Service Coordination team is to manage the resource of Olympus Field Service Engineers by booking their visits directly with customers. You will work closely with a designated team of engineers to ensure customers receive the best possible service.
To produce and maintain visits on the department service management system and to liaise daily with customers on matters relating to the installation, servicing, and repair of their equipment.
Principal Responsibilities
1. Daily communication by telephone and email with customers to schedule the work of Field Service Engineers including Planned Preventative Maintenance visits.
2. Receive and log customer call outs for equipment requiring repair.
3. Order repair parts for customer equipment.
4. Schedule the installation of new customer equipment.
5. Invoice completed Field Service Engineer jobs.
6. Production of customer quotations.
7. Previous administration and organisational skills.
8. Excellent ICT skills and use of Microsoft Office.
9. Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
10. Proactive approach to Customer Service.
11. The ability to work under pressure and prioritise a changing workload.
Minimum Requirements
1. Educated to degree level or with a relevant Customer Service &/ or Business Administration qualification – desirable though not essential.
2. Previous administration experience is essential. Excellent written and spoken communication skills are necessary for this role due to dealing directly with customers.
