Join our Collections Operations Team
We are looking for an Operations Executive to complement the existing team, and to act as a support to the busy Account Collections department. The main purpose of the role is to take responsibility for the day-to-day administration of the department, allowing the Account Collections team to focus on chasing outstanding debt. The main role for a Collections Operations Executive is to upload and allocate all customer payments, whilst also looking after invoicing and some other smaller customer maintenance jobs too.

The Collections Operations Executives are responsible for the uploading and allocating of all customer payments into Softcat. They work to support the Credit Controllers in having an accurate reflection on what is outstanding on customer accounts.
As a Collections Operations Executive, you'll be responsible for:
1. Dealing with the post daily, including coding up all customer cheques and remittance advice
2. Sending copy invoices, credit notes, and statements to customers and Account Managers as requested
3. Daily posting and applying of all cheques and BAC's payments to the system
4. Running and sending out the daily invoice batch
5. Maintenance of customer accounts
6. Customer and Account Manager query resolution
We'd love you to have:
1. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
2. Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
3. Effective communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with different personalities across the business.
4. Proven ability to problem solve with an understanding of when to manage a query independently and when to escalate further
5. Demonstrates an ability to work effectively as part of a team
