DRIVER’S MATE NEEDED – IMMEDIATE START!
Thorn Baker is looking for a Driver’s Mate to start immediately for one of our clients in Coventry!
The Role:
Assisting with 12-18 deliveries per day to domestic and business customers
Heavy lifting involved – handballing gas cylinders off at delivery points
Packing and loading the vehicle, ensuring items are secure and accessible
Helping the driver with navigation and advising on diversions
Checking delivery sheets to ensure accurate drops
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Comfortable with heavy lifting – full training provided
✅ Must have hi-vis and safety boots
✅ Good customer service skills and a strong work ethic
Hours & Pay:
Monday to Friday – 7:00 AM starts (approx. 9-10 hours per shift)
£11.44 per hour
