We offer hybrid working but you will be required to have a regular presence in the office (the location will be based on which office is closest to your home).
What you'll be doing day to day
You’ll be responsible for our east region looking after our Salisbury, Poole and Southampton offices for both business development as well as marketing. In addition, you’ll be promoting our Business Advisory offering across the firm to promote our services to SMEs.
1. Managing events and webinars from start to finish including scoping the event based on objectives through to following up to generate sales leads post event
2. Coming-up with ideas for corporate hospitality events to help build closer relationships with clients and contacts
3. Developing keep in touch programmes with the aim of contacting key clients and prospects. Helping offices’ Business Development teams to forge stronger relationships
4. Coming-up with issue-based marketing and social media campaigns to promote our SME offering
5. Producing content such as videos, blogs etc for social media
6. Producing marketing materials i.e. PowerPoint presentations, newsletters, eshots, case studies and brochures
7. Looking after sponsorships and ensuring we are maximising our agreed packages
8. Understanding the local marketplace and proactively looking for BD opportunities. This may involve undertaking market research, company research and using software to identify new avenues to market to
9. Coordinating the offices’ business development pipeline and qualifying opportunities/leads for the BD team including cross selling
10. Managing and assisting with the production of proposal documents and keeping a log on wins & losses. Sharing best practice with other teams
11. Coordinating business development meetings for the offices and chasing actions with team members so progress is being made
12. Monitoring budgets
About you
13. 1+ years’ experience of marketing and business development
14. Excellent command of written and verbal English
15. Comfortable communicating at all levels internally and externally
16. Highly organised with great administrative skills
17. Confident in building a rapport with people
18. Able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and good under pressure
19. Comfortable with technology
20. Proficient in social media
21. Used to and keen to work in a team environment
22. A can do attitude
