Consultant Job Role
Due to continued growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a 360 Blue Collar consultant to join us based in our office in Sidcup. AS Solutions are looking for a focused, self-motivated and driven individual who is looking to maximize their own potential and grow within the business.
This role will be focused on the recruitment of Blue Collar Trades & Labour staff on construction sites across Kent & Sussex. There will be a heavy focus on the development of new business alongside maintaining and growing the existing client base. Initial training and ongoing development will be provided.
While we are open to applications from various experience levels, the ideal candidate will have previous exposure to business development, sales, account management or will have worked in a fast-paced target-driven environment.

The Role
* Full time and permanent
* Construction specialist 360 recruiter role, focused on Blue Collar Trades & Labour staff, ranging from Labourers through to Machine Operators and Skilled Tradesmen.
* Building and nurturing relationships with clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
* Understanding client recruitment needs and providing strategic advice to ensure the best candidate matches.
* Becoming an industry expert through networking and staying ahead of market trends.
* Attracting top talent through effective candidate engagement strategies.
* Carrying out regular site visit days on a weekly basis.
* Carrying out Head Office meetings with key decision makers.
* Generation of new business by actively using a number of tools to research clients and build relationships.
* Promotion of the business to the existing and new client base.
* Advertise and market client vacancies via relevant job boards and social media platforms.
* Screening job applications and assessing suitability for roles.
* Maintain and grow the existing candidate pool of Blue Collar Trades & Labour operatives through proactive work via telephone, social media platforms, and advertising roles daily.
* Complete management of the candidate journey including full candidate registration, checking relevant compliance requirements, and reference checks to ensure suitability for relevant positions.
* Resource and fill jobs daily, ensuring all compliance requirements are met in line with relevant legislation and company policy.
* Management of the timesheet process weekly using paper timesheets, online timesheets, and online portals.
The Ideal Candidate
* Complete fluency in English (spoken and written).
* Sales and customer service focused.
* Confident in speaking to both clients and candidates over the phone and in person.
* Resilient attitude with a positive approach to problem solving.
* Experience in working to targets.
* Motivated and enthusiastic mindset with a drive to succeed.
* Previous recruitment experience would be preferred.
* Experience recruiting within the construction sector would be a great advantage but not essential.
* Capable of building great rapport with credibility.
* Has precise attention to detail, processing high volumes of work accurately and to deadline.
* Full Drivers License.
