Haematology Staff Nurse (Band 5)
Location: Sandwell and Birmingham NHS Hospitals – NEW Hospital site
Employment: Full-term or part-time, permanent – 37.5hrs + flexible working options!
Salary: Band 5: £28,407 – £34,581 per annum + benefits

Role Overview: As a Band 5 Haematology Nurse, you will administer supportive therapies, provide compassionate care, and support patients and their families. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities:
1. Administering medication and other supportive treatments
2. Monitoring patients’ progress and managing any adverse effects
3. Educating patients and families about treatment plans
4. Collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality care
5. Participating in professional development and training programs
Requirements:
6. Registered Adult Nurse on the NMC Register
7. Passion for haematology and oncology nursing
8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills

The Ideal Candidate:
15. NMC registration – RNA qualified
16. Minimum 2 year’s experience in a haematology/relevant nursing specialty
