My client is a well-known steel fabricator in Barnsley. They are a family-owned business formed in 1985, specialising in the design, build, and manufacture of all types of steel structures. Their products are used in single and multi-storey warehouses, offices, commercial premises, distribution centres, retail parks, leisure centres, sports facilities, and many other applications.
They are based in a modern production unit situated near junction 38 of the M1 motorway.
Responsibilities:
* Have gained a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
* Likely have worked for a steel fabricator previously
* Have previous experience in the design of portal frames
* Be confident using CAD/TEKLA etc.
* Work well as part of a close-knit team
* Display a positive proactive approach to work
