Position: SEN & SEMH Teaching Assistant
Minimum Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Flexible part-time and full-time roles available
Requirements:
* A degree in Psychology or a related field
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to build rapport with students and staff
* Prior experience in education or support roles (preferred but not essential)
* Dedication to promoting inclusivity and well-being
* Enhanced DBS check (we’ll help you obtain this)
Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
* Help implement personalized learning plans
* Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
* Assist students in developing social skills and emotional resilience
* Work alongside teachers and staff to monitor student progress
* Encourage and motivate students to reach their potential
* Participate in training and professional development opportunities
To Be Eligible for This Role Through Teaching Personnel, You Must:
* Hold the right to work in the UK.
* Have an enhanced child DBS certificate registered with the update service or be willing to apply for one.
* Provide two professional references covering the last two years.
