Role Responsibilities
We are currently recruiting for a Change Project Manager to lead and oversee governance and reporting for the Operations Directorate to support in the delivery of key projects and improve transport services in line with Welsh Government transport policy and strategy.
This is a role that will work closely with internal TfW Stakeholders, including senior leadership team to ensure all governance and reporting requirements are met, highlight risks and opportunities, and provide advice based upon experience.
Responsibilities to include but are not limited to:
* Oversee governance and reporting for the Operations Directorate as required, optimising meeting structures and Business Plan reporting, to ensure they drive effective delivery of key operational and strategic priorities.
* Assist the Head of Change Management in delivering Operations-related Change Programmes and Projects, ensuring tasks, milestones, and resources are effectively planned and executed using Project Management methodologies.
* Provide professional and effective project management services, including project management planning, monitoring, reporting, and facilitating working groups and steering groups/committees.
Who we’re looking for
* A proven track record in similar roles managing governance processes within a comparable business environment.
* Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Strong business writing skills, including the creation of management reports and confident use of Excel.
* Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
Welsh Language Skills
The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
Transport for Wales supports and promotes the use of the Welsh Language by employees and will encourage them to develop, improve and maintain their Welsh Language skills.
