The Accounts Assistant plays a crucial role in maintaining financial records inclusive of purchases, sales, receipts and payments. This position is essential in assisting with the smooth running of accounting operations for a leading business services provider. Description Process and maintain financial records in an accurate and timely manner. Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports. Manage accounts payable and receivable. Perform reconciliations of bank statements. Assist with the preparation of annual budgets. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Assist in auditing services for the business services industry. Work collaboratively within the Accounting & Finance team to achieve targets. Profile A successful Accounts Assistant should have: A degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel. Knowledge of accounting software is advantageous. Strong numeracy and analytical skills. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
